Key Responsibilities

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD in one of the following fields from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC):

  • Agriculture disciplines: Agronomy, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Soil Science, Agri. Economics, Plant Physiology, Botany or any related discipline.
  • Pharmaceutical disciplines: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or any related discipline.
  • Food disciplines: Food & Nutrition, Food Sciences, Food Safety & Controls, Food Safety & Quality Management, Food Science & Technology, Food Technology, Food Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Meat Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, or any related discipline.

Work Experience

1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in forensic examination or testing of products such as fertilizers, pesticides, food, or drugs.
2. Experience in supervising laboratory activities in a 17025 accredited laboratory is highly preferred.

Skills

1. Expertise in forensic examination and testing of fertilizers, pesticides, food, or drugs.
2. Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance practices and regulatory standards.
3. Strong understanding of ISO 17025 laboratory standards and their implementation in laboratory settings.
