Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience in the forensic examination or testing of drugs. This includes management and supervision experience in 17025 accredited laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the Drug Testing Lab’s operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance processes in the drug testing lab to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and that all drugs tested meet required safety guidelines.

2. Forensic Examination and Testing of Drugs: Lead forensic testing and examination of drugs to ensure they are safe for public use and meet all legal standards for distribution.

3. Laboratory Supervision and Management: Manage laboratory operations, supervise testing procedures, ensure that the team adheres to ISO 17025 standards, and maintain safety protocols in the lab.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all laboratory test results are properly documented, and generate detailed reports for regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and internal review.

5. Staff Training and Development: Provide training and professional development for laboratory staff to keep them updated with best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the position of Quality Assurance Manager at the Drug Testing Lab, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:
– PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmacy from a university/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
OR
– MS/MPhil or MSc. in a relevant field with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized institution.

2. Experience:
– At least 7 years of experience in drug testing, forensic examination, and laboratory management in a relevant field.
– Experience in managing a laboratory that meets ISO 17025 accreditation standards is essential.

3. Skills:
– Expertise in drug testing and quality assurance in laboratories.
– Strong management and supervisory skills to oversee lab operations effectively.
– Familiarity with ISO 17025 accredited laboratory standards and quality management systems.
