Job Overview: Resident Engineer – MEP

Key Responsibilities

As a Resident Engineer – MEP, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Electrical Systems Management

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, and backup power systems.

Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC and NEC, as well as local regulations.

2. Plumbing & Drainage Systems

Supervise the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and water storage.

Ensure proper integration of pumps, valves, pressure systems, and backflow preventers.

Adhere to ASHRAE, NFPA, and local plumbing codes.

3. MEP Works Execution & Quality Control

Lead the execution and quality assurance of MEP works, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

4. Coordination & Integration

Collaborate with mechanical and civil teams to ensure smooth coordination, proper clearance, and space management.

5. Rehabilitation Works

Qualifications and Skills

– A BSc in Electrical Engineering.
