Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining electrical systems at a heavy oil power station. Your key duties will include:

Power Distribution & Monitoring

1. Conduct daily inspections, meter readings, and monitoring of the power distribution system.

2. Ensure smooth operation of electrical facilities and equipment.

3. Perform daily switch operations for power distribution.

Diesel Power Generation System

1. Monitor and manage the diesel power generation system.

2. Handle maintenance, isolation, and re-commissioning of electrical equipment.

3. Assist mechanical teams in startup, shutdown, and testing of units.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

1. Perform regular maintenance of diesel generators and auxiliary equipment.

2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including motor repairs and component replacements.

3. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and testing activities.

Safety & Compliance

1. Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.

2. Identify and report equipment hazards to prevent failures.

3. Ensure all tools and spare parts are properly managed.
