What Does a Machine Learning Engineer Do?

A Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for building intelligent systems that learn from data and make smart decisions. In this role, you’ll work on AI models that understand images and text to improve logistics, automate data entry, and optimize business processes.

1. Design, build, and deploy machine learning models, especially in Computer Vision and NLP

2. Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) using OpenAI, Hugging Face, or LLaMA

3. Translate product and business challenges into machine learning solutions

4. Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers

5. Research and apply state-of-the-art ML and AI techniques

6. Optimize machine learning models for use on mobile and edge devices

7. Improve model performance by testing and analyzing results

8. Document your work and share knowledge with the team
