Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft E5 security tools to ensure a strong security posture for the organization.
  • Secure Azure workloads and Kubernetes environments by applying best practices in cloud security.
  • Work with SOC teams to ensure security logs are forwarded to the SIEM for monitoring and analysis.
  • Automate security operations, conduct security assessments, and collaborate with DevOps teams to improve overall security.
  • Ensure that security policies are optimized and aligned with the company’s security standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Microsoft security tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain security playbooks, leveraging Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Defender for Cloud.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft E5 security tools: Expertise in tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, and Office 365.
  • Proficiency in SIEM log integration: Strong hands-on experience with integrating security logs into SIEM systems and optimizing them for actionable insights.
  • Azure Security Expertise: Deep understanding of Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel for effective cloud security management.
