The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), one of the most important government organizations in Pakistan, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer.

NADRA is responsible for managing the country’s national identity database, including the issuance of identity cards, passports, and other vital statistics. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in communication media, network firewalling, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, network switching, and cloud networking.

The Senior Network Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing NADRA’s complex network infrastructure. • Managing communication media and network systems: You will be responsible for ensuring that NADRA’s internal and external communication systems are functioning efficiently and securely.
• Network security and firewalling: Securing NADRA’s network systems is a critical part of the job. This includes managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and DDoS protection to protect sensitive national data.
• Switching and routing management: Overseeing the installation, configuration, and management of network switches and routers is key to maintaining efficient and secure communication pathways.
• Cloud networking: With more data moving to cloud environments, knowledge of cloud networking and ensuring secure access to these platforms is vital for this role.
• Collaborating with IT teams: You will work closely with other technical teams within NADRA, ensuring that network systems are integrated and functioning as part of the broader IT infrastructure.
• Ensuring uptime and efficiency: Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure minimal downtime and high performance of NADRA’s systems.
