Role Overview
The Senior Network Security Engineer plays a vital role in safeguarding an organization’s network infrastructure. This role is focused on managing and maintaining firewall security systems, routing, VPNs, cloud security services, and load balancing.

Key Responsibilities
Firewall & Security Management
1. Manage Palo Alto Firewalls, including features like URL filtering, EDL, antivirus, vulnerability protection, file blocking, SSL decryption, and Active Directory integration.
2. Administer Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall management.
3. Manage Cisco Umbrella for secure DNS and URL filtering to prevent web threats.
4. Use Cisco ASA and Firepower for threat protection, ensuring the network is secure from malicious traffic.
5. Administer Cisco ISE for device authentication and access control across the network.
Routing & VPN Management
1. Manage complex BGP and OSPF environments to ensure efficient and secure routing within the network.
2. Configure and manage VTI-based VPN tunnels to facilitate secure site-to-site connectivity.
3. Troubleshoot certificate-related firewall issues to maintain uninterrupted service and security.
Load Balancing & DNS Management
1. Administer F5 LTM for efficient load balancing, ensuring high availability and optimal traffic distribution.
2. Manage DNS services to ensure proper distribution and availability of network resources.
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
1. Manage AWS and Azure networking, including services like VPC, VNets, and security groups, ensuring secure and efficient communication within cloud environments.
2. Implement and manage AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute to improve cloud connectivity and hybrid networking.
Data Center Networking
1. Administer Cisco Nexus switching in data center environments to ensure stable and scalable network performance.
Skills & Qualifications
