Key Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Manager
As a Senior Technical Manager at PAFDA, your role will involve leading and managing the drug testing lab to ensure forensic examination and drug testing meet the required standards. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing Lab Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the drug testing lab, ensuring all operations align with international standards.
2. Forensic Examination & Testing: Lead forensic examinations and testing of drugs to ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Ensuring Quality Control: Ensure all laboratory activities meet the standards of ISO 17025, an internationally recognized quality standard for laboratory practices.
4. Supervision & Training: Supervise lab staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards in drug testing procedures.
5. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all testing and forensic examination processes, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Senior Technical Manager role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Qualifications:
– PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmacy from a recognized university/institute.
OR
– MS/MPhil or MSc. (Hons.) in Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology with at least 45% marks from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university/institute.
2. Experience:
– Minimum 7 years of experience with a PhD, or 10 years of experience with MS/MPhil/MSc, in forensic examination and testing of drugs.
– Experience in managing laboratory activities in ISO 17025 accredited labs is highly desirable.
3. Skills:
– Forensic drug testing and examination.
– Laboratory management and supervision.
– Knowledge of international lab accreditation standards.
