About the Role

As a Shopify Expert / SEO Optimizer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the technical and digital aspects of IDA Book’s Shopify store.
Your primary responsibilities will include improving the store’s performance, optimizing it for search engines, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Infrastructure Development: Develop and maintain the technical infrastructure of the Shopify store using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Customize Shopify themes and integrate new tools and apps to enhance functionality.

2. SEO Optimization: Optimize meta tags, content, and Schema Markup to improve search engine rankings. Perform backlink work and develop effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic.

3. Performance Optimization: Improve page speed and optimize Core Web Vitals for better user experience. Analyze and enhance the store’s performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Search Console.

4. Product Management: Manage product listings, create collections, and organize categories for easy navigation.

5. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement strategies to improve the customer experience and increase conversion rates.

6. App Management: Manage and optimize Shopify apps such as Klaviyo, ReConvert, and Meta Pixel to streamline operations.
