Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Customs and Trade Data Analytics.

Job Role: SME for Customs and Trade Data Analytics
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyzing customs and trade data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
2. Providing expert advice on Pakistan’s customs regulations and international best practices
3. Collaborating with PSW, FBR, and other public sector entities to enhance trade facilitation measures
4. Developing data-driven strategies for modernizing customs procedures
5. Ensuring compliance with trade policies and improving regulatory frameworks
6. Engaging with stakeholders to improve Pakistan’s trade processes through digital transformation
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
1. Master’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, international trade, or public policy
Experience
1. Minimum 10+ years of experience in customs operations, trade facilitation, or related fields
2. Prior experience working with PSW, FBR, or similar public sector entities is highly desirable
3. Experience in data strategy consulting is an added advantage
Skills Required
1. Deep understanding of Pakistan’s customs regulations and procedures
2. Knowledge of international best practices in trade facilitation and customs modernization
3. Strong analytical skills to interpret trade data and suggest improvements
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
