The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives is currently hiring for the role of Social Media Expert and Content Writer.

Key Responsibilities

As a Social Media Expert and Content Writer, your key duties will include:

  • Content Creation: Draft and update content for social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Engagement Monitoring: Analyze audience engagement, especially for CPEC-related content, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to grow the Ministry’s social media presence.
  • Content Optimization: Continuously improve and optimize social media content for better engagement and visibility.
  • Media Monitoring: Prepare daily and weekly media monitoring reports to track the effectiveness of social media strategies.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Director (PD).

This position allows you to be part of high-impact projects that will enhance the Ministry’s social media engagement and promote key government initiatives to the public.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the position of Social Media Expert and Content Writer, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced university degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in media, communications, or social media content development.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 45 years, with age relaxation available as per government rules.

Required Skills

The role requires a strong mix of content creation and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the following areas:

  • Social Media Content Creation: Ability to produce engaging and relevant content for different social media platforms.
