Job Description
Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is hiring a Specialist IT Infrastructure & Networks for its Information Technology department. This is a full-time position based in Lahore, Pakistan, and is open to candidates with a strong background in IT infrastructure, network management, and system administration.

Job Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Administration
Manage and maintain data centers, core network infrastructure, and IT systems.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth IT operations for PSDF users.
Ensure optimal speed, security, and availability of network resources.
2. Network Performance & Security
Monitor network performance and optimize it for better efficiency.
Manage firewalls, routers, and switches to protect company data.
Ensure security measures are up to date to prevent cyber threats.
3. Server & Software Management
Oversee server management and uptime assurance.
Deploy, configure, and upgrade network software, including enterprise antivirus and remote support programs.
Maintain Domain Controller Group Policies for user access and security settings.
4. Planning & Expansion
Review IT infrastructure to meet future business needs and expansion plans.
Stay updated with market trends in technology to recommend improvements.
Coordinate with vendors for contract management and IT services.
Required Skills & Experience
Skills Needed
Hands-on IT infrastructure and data center management experience.
Strong knowledge of networking components like firewalls, routers, and switches.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT operations.
Understanding of market trends in IT and technology.
Key account management and relationship-building skills.
Experience Required
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure or network-related role.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in IT, Computer Sciences, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
