Job Overview
The Specialist (Mobilization & Outreach) will play a crucial role in supporting the department’s strategic objectives by engaging with local communities, creating compelling media content, and utilizing digital platforms to raise awareness on issues related to women’s development.
The position is based in Punjab, and the contract duration is extendable, subject to performance and the continuation of the development project titled “Strategic Planning and Implementation Unit 2024-27”.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Development: Develop engaging media content, including text, images, and videos, for digital platforms to raise awareness and mobilize communities on gender-related issues.
2. Social Media Management: Manage the department’s social media accounts, create campaigns, and ensure regular engagement with the target audience to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders including community groups, NGOs, and government bodies to implement mobilization strategies that promote women’s rights and development.
4. Campaigns and Outreach: Plan and execute outreach campaigns aimed at raising awareness and encouraging participation in gender equality programs across the province.
5. Graphics and Video Production: Use graphic design software and video editing tools to create visually appealing content that communicates messages effectively to a wide audience.
Key Requirements
1. Education: A Master’s or M.Phil Degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Sociology, Gender Studies, Digital Media Marketing, or Project Management from a recognized university in Pakistan.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field, especially in media content development, outreach, or community mobilization.
3. Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, MS Office Suite, graphic design, and video editing tools. Excellent communication skills are necessary for both written and verbal interactions with stakeholders and audiences.
