Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Payable Management: Oversee daily accounting transactions, ensuring timely processing of accounts receivable and payable.
- General Ledger Accounting: Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring that all journal entries are accurately recorded.
- Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded for accurate reporting.
- Invoice Processing: Review, process, and manage invoices while ensuring that all payments are accounted for.
- Bank Account Administration: Handle bank account reconciliations, payment runs, and cash flow management to ensure the company’s financial operations run smoothly.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to all company policies.
- Sales Tax Returns: Prepare and file sales tax returns while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to reflect the company’s financial health.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Management Reports: Prepare detailed management reports that provide insights into the financial status of the company.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting processes.
- MS Excel: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- NetSuite Experience: Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Multi-Currency Transactions: Knowledge of multi-currency transactions and their impact on financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
