Job Duties of a Stenographer

As a Stenographer, you will assist officers by:

1. Taking dictation in English shorthand at 70 words per minute

2. Typing official documents at 35 words per minute on a computer

3. Preparing reports, letters, and meeting notes

4. Managing digital files and records using MS Office

5. Supporting the administrative team in day-to-day office work

Your role is essential to ensure smooth and timely communication within the department.

1. Education: Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd division) or equivalent from a recognized board.

2. Skills:

3. English Shorthand: 70 w.p.m.

4. English Typing: 35 w.p.m. on a computer

5. Computer literacy in MS Office

6. Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender

7. Domicile: Punjab

8. Age Limit:

9. Males: 18 to 30 years (including age relaxation)

10. Females: 18 to 33 years (including age relaxation)

11. For transgender candidates: age will be considered according to CNIC
