Key Responsibilities of the SVP Digital Customs
As an SVP of Digital Customs, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in:
- Leading Digital Transformation: Spearheading technology-driven change in Pakistan’s customs processes by implementing modern IT systems and infrastructure.
- Building Relationships: Managing and cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Technology Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies for emerging technologies such as Kubernetes, APIs, Microservices, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence to modernize customs operations.
- Project Management: Overseeing large-scale ICT transformation programs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- System Architecture: Implementing and managing the technical architecture, ensuring that systems are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Leadership: Leading a team of technology experts, fostering an environment of innovation, and driving a culture of excellence.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years at the executive level.
Previous Experience: Ideal candidates will have prior experience in multinational organizations or large-scale public or private sector enterprises, with a focus on leading ICT transformation projects.
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Software Development.
Certifications: Certifications in frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, COBIT, or ITIL are preferred.
Skills and Competencies

- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both technical and non-technical teams effectively.
