Job Responsibilities and Duties

As a Technical Associate at NIE, your primary duties will revolve around supporting technical operations and maintenance within the plant.

The role is hands-on and will require you to operate specialized equipment related to PCB fabrication. Below are the core responsibilities associated with this position:

1. Operate and Maintain PCB Fabrication Equipment and Tools

You will be tasked with using advanced tools and machinery that are essential for the production of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Your role includes ensuring that all equipment is in proper working order.

2. Prepare Screen Prints and Handle Gerber Files

Using CAD/CAM tools, you will assist in creating screen prints for PCB designs. Handling Gerber files, which are used in the production of PCB layouts, will also be part of your responsibilities.

3. Support PCB Etching, Soldering, and Inspection

You will be involved in key PCB processes, such as etching, soldering, and inspection, ensuring that the boards meet high-quality standards.

4. Preventive Maintenance

Regular preventive maintenance on equipment is essential to avoid breakdowns and ensure smooth operations. As part of your role, you will assist in conducting this maintenance as directed by your supervisors.

5. Assist Plant Engineer with Technical Tasks

You will collaborate with the Plant Engineer, supporting various technical tasks and assisting in maintaining technical documentation related to the department’s operations.

6. Documentation and Reporting

Ensuring all technical work is well-documented will also be part of your job. You will assist in preparing reports and maintaining records of completed tasks and maintenance activities.
