Key Responsibilities

The Technical Manager in the Drug Testing Lab will be responsible for overseeing the forensic examination and testing of pharmaceutical products. Below are some of the key duties and responsibilities:

1. Manage Drug Testing Operations:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of drug testing operations in the laboratory, ensuring that testing procedures are in compliance with relevant health and safety standards.

3. Supervise Laboratory Activities:

4. Maintain Laboratory Standards:
Ensure that all laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with ISO and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards, including documentation, reporting, and calibration of testing equipment.

5. Report and Documentation:
Prepare detailed reports on drug testing results and communicate findings to regulatory authorities, ensuring proper documentation of all activities and results.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

  • PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmacy from a university/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • MPhil in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmacy (minimum 45% marks) from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have the following experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with a PhD or 8 years of experience with an MPhil in drug testing or forensic examination of drugs.
  • Experience in laboratory supervision and management, particularly in a drug testing or pharmaceutical setting.

Required Skills

  • Forensic examination and testing of pharmaceutical products.
  • Laboratory supervision and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Knowledge of drug testing procedures and regulatory compliance, including relevant laboratory accreditation standards.
