Job Title: Trade Finance / Accounts Manager
Location: Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in import, export, and trading
Qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant field
Gender: Male

Key Responsibilities
As a Trade Finance / Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting operations of the company. Your duties will include:
1. Financial Management
1. Oversee financial limits, discounting of letters of credit, and handling spot and forward booking of foreign exchange transactions.
2. Manage financial budgeting, planning, and forecasting to ensure the company’s financial health.
3. Monitor bank and investment balances and perform cash flow forecasting.
2. Accounting Operations
1. Ensure day-to-day transactions, such as accounts payable, bank payments, bank receipts, and accounts receivable, are recorded accurately.
2. Perform timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
3. Compliance and Reporting
1. Ensure all finance and accounting operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
2. Assist the Managing Director with monthly financial reporting and fiscal year-end close activities.
3. Prepare financial analyses and reports as requested by the Director.
4. Process Improvement
1. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve finance and accounting operations through technology.
2. Train staff to better utilize financial and accounting software.
5. Coordination and Collaboration
1. Coordinate with the export department for freight pricing, market analysis, and contract compliance.
2. Serve as the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments, bank receipts, and budgets.
