Job Responsibilities of a Web Development Manager

Leading the Web Development Team

As a Web Development Manager at Nysonian Inc., you will be responsible for leading the web development team to ensure that all web projects meet the company’s standards for quality and performance.

You will coordinate the efforts of developers, designers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals on time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

1. Team Leadership: Oversee a team of web developers, providing guidance and direction in the execution of projects.

2. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks for the development team to meet deadlines and project goals.

3. Code Quality & Review: Ensure the development team produces clean, maintainable code by reviewing code regularly and providing constructive feedback.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as designers, marketing, and product management to implement effective web solutions.

5. Optimization: Continuously monitor website performance and suggest improvements, focusing on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).

Technical Expertise

A critical part of this role is having deep knowledge of web development technologies. You will lead your team in using Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies to develop and optimize websites. Your expertise in Shopify will be key in driving the success of e-commerce projects.

Technical Responsibilities Include:

1. Shopify Development: Lead the development and maintenance of Shopify-based websites and e-commerce platforms.

2. Web Technologies: Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive, high-performance websites.

3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Ensure that websites are optimized to maximize user engagement and conversion rates.

Technical Skills:
