Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
    • Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s (4-year) degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
    • B.Tech. (Hons) in Electrical or Mechanical or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are eligible to apply; no prior experience is required.

Military Engineering Services (MES) and Role of Assistant Engineers:

The Military Engineering Services (MES) plays a crucial role in the infrastructure development of the Pakistan Armed Forces. MES is responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of both residential and operational buildings, roads, airfields, water supply systems, and electrical and mechanical installations.

As an Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), you will be expected to:

  • Oversee and manage the construction and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in military and public buildings.
  • Work on infrastructure projects such as power supply systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), as well as mechanical installations for the military.
  • Supervise and guide technical teams, ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other technical staff to implement project designs and plans.
