Key Responsibilities

• Safety Operations: Oversee the safe operation of gas engines, PD compressors, and associated equipment to ensure a secure working environment.
• Team Management: Manage work permits and ensure the safety of maintenance and operations staff, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
• Emergency Response: Lead the operations team during emergencies, providing clear direction and support to ensure swift and effective responses.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene (OHIH) standards.
• Standards Adherence: Maintain 100% compliance with SEQS (Safety and Environmental Quality Standards) to meet industry and company benchmarks.
• Procedure Development: Develop and update operational procedures, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 7-8 years of work experience in fertilizers or gas compression units, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
