Job Description

The Education Department GB, under the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, is offering a promising opportunity for the position of Assistant Education Officer / Assistant District Inspector of Schools (BS-16).

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification: A second-class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed. or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: At least five years of post-qualification experience in teaching, administration, or establishing educational institutions.
  • Age Limit: Candidates should be between 22 to 28 years old, with a five-year general relaxation in the upper age limit.

Note: Candidates with a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree with 16 years of schooling in Education, or higher qualifications in Education are exempt from the B.Ed. requirement.

Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Education Officer / Assistant District Inspector of Schools, your role will include:

  • Educational Oversight: Supervising educational institutions to ensure they meet educational standards and government regulations.
  • Administrative Duties: Managing administrative tasks related to school operations, including staff coordination and resource allocation.
  • Policy Implementation: Implementing educational policies and programs as directed by the Education Department.
