Job Description
The Armed Forces Institute of Radiology and Imaging, under the Ministry of Defence, is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of General Staff Officer, Grade-I (Classified Radiologist) (BS-19).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
- FCPS (Radiology) or equivalent qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
- One (1) year Fellowship degree or On-Job-Training (OJT) in Breast/Body Imaging.
- Professional Experience:
- Seven (7) years of post-qualification working experience at any renowned medical imaging setup.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging: Conducting diagnostic imaging examinations such as mammograms, ultrasound, MRI, and CT scans, particularly focusing on women’s imaging, breast clinic, and body imaging.
- Patient Care: Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Report Generation: Interpreting imaging results and preparing detailed reports for referring physicians.
- Clinical Consultation: Providing expert clinical consultation and advice to medical staff regarding imaging findings and diagnosis.
- Training and Development: Participating in the training and development of junior radiologists and medical staff within the department.
- Equipment Management: Overseeing the proper use and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
