Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:
- Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any of the following subjects: Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Physics.
- B.Sc. Engineering in any discipline is also acceptable.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel is required.
Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages:
- Stage 1: MCQ-based screening test.
- Stage 2: Descriptive test for the top merit position holders from each quota (10 candidates per vacancy).
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Inspector Customs/Intelligence Officer, you will be responsible for the enforcement of customs laws, collection of duties, and investigation of customs violations. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting inspections of goods and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Monitoring the inflow and outflow of goods at ports, borders, and airports.
