Job Description

The Chief Programs role is critical for ensuring the development and execution of strategic programs aligned with NAVTTC’s goals.

The selected candidate will oversee the design, development, and management of skills development programs, focusing on efficient planning to establish NAVTTC as a leading brand in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute program strategies across all existing and forthcoming programs.
  • Oversee the design, development, and management of skills development programs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and challenges associated with program implementation.
  • Analyze emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the TVET sector and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Enhance awareness and promote NAVTTC’s brand image through proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Formulate and develop comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
  • Manage communication strategies to disseminate program outcomes and success stories.
  • Develop effective mobilization strategies to engage stakeholders such as Training Service Providers (TSPs), trainees, donors, and communities.

Qualification Requirements

  • Education: MS Degree in Management Science, Business Administration, or Economics from an HEC-recognized institute.
  • Experience: 20 to 25 years of relevant experience.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, HR, MBA, or any relevant degree.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the TVET skills sector, including program design and development.
    • Donor management experience is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of TVET sector policies, procedures, and trends.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in developing policies and strategic recommendations for leadership.
    • Strong project management and relationship management skills.
