Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the position of Section Officer, candidates must meet specific requirements.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 30 years (as of December 2, 2024).

Educational Qualifications

Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class (Grade “C”) from an HEC/PEC recognized university in Pakistan, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign institution.

Experience Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of service as a regular BS-17 or BS-18 civil servant, provincial civil servant, public servant, or government servant. Officers of autonomous bodies or corporations with deputation experience in the Federal Secretariat as Section Officers are also eligible.

Job Examination

The selection process for the Section Officer position includes a written examination followed by a viva voce interview. The written exam is tentatively scheduled to take place from February 17 to 22, 2025. Candidates who pass the written test will be invited for the interview stage.
