Qualifications Required:

Candidates must possess an MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). Additionally, applicants should have either a PM&DC Level-III or Level-II (a) or Level-II (b) qualification in Pathology, Hematology, or Histopathology, or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty that are recognized/registered by the PM&DC.

Experience Requirements:

The role requires substantial clinical experience:

  • Option 1: At least seven (7) years of post-qualification clinical experience with Level-III qualifications.
  • Option 2: At least ten (10) years of post-qualification clinical experience with Level-II (a) or II (b) qualifications.

Job Duties and Department Role:

The Senior Pathologist will play a crucial role in the Pathology Department at NIRM. Key responsibilities typically include:

  • Conducting and supervising laboratory tests and analyses in the fields of pathology, hematology, and histopathology.
  • Diagnosing diseases based on the analysis of tissues, blood, and other bodily fluids.
