Key Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Works Manager, Grade-II, candidates must have:

• A B.Sc. Engineering degree in one of the following fields:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Telecommunication Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Aeronautical Engineering
• The degree must be from a university recognized by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Experience

Candidates must meet the following experience requirements:

• Five (5) years of post-qualification experience in relevant engineering works within a Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, Public, or Private organization.
• Alternatively, retired Lieutenant Colonels or Majors from the EME Corps with the required qualifications and experience are also eligible to apply.

General Job Responsibilities

As a Works Manager, Grade-II at the Ministry of Defence, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to engineering works. These include overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems used within the defense sector.
