Qualifications Required
Candidates interested in this position must hold a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Zoology or Wildlife Management with a first division, or a BS degree (CGPA 3.5) in the same fields from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Age Limit
- Male Candidates: 21 to 30 years, with an additional 5-year age relaxation, making the maximum age limit 35 years.
- Female Candidates: 21 to 30 years, with an additional 8-year age relaxation, making the maximum age limit 38 years.
- Transgender Candidates: Age and sex will be determined based on the information provided on their CNIC.

Role and Responsibilities
The Assistant Director (Wildlife) plays a pivotal role in the conservation and management of wildlife resources across Punjab. The position involves the following key responsibilities:
- Wildlife Conservation: Implement and oversee wildlife conservation programs to protect endangered species and their habitats.
- Management of Protected Areas: Ensure effective management of national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, and game reserves.
- Research and Data Collection: Conduct research on wildlife species, collect data, and analyze it to support conservation efforts.

Examination and Syllabus
Candidates will be required to take a written examination, which will be a one-paper MCQ-type test consisting of 100 marks. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes.

- Subject-Specific Questions: 80% of the questions will be related to the prescribed qualifications, focusing on Zoology and Wildlife Management.
- General Ability: 20% of the questions will cover General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.
